Fishguard Carnival

Every year in August, Fishguard Round Table organise the carnival; a family day out, whether you are taking part on a float (as we do) or just a spectator. A few years ago now, we were lucky enough to be invited to take part. We were there on holiday and hadn't prepared anything, but we thought 'why not!'. we haven't looked back since and now it is a regular event on our calendar.

Every year we have a differrent theme for our float, from the Ugly Bug Ball to Witches and Wizards. The Pirates were a particular favourite; turning a tractor trailer in to a pirate ship was an achievement. Although taking part is the most important thing, we have won 'Best Float'.
